Please double check your playbook settings under storage sharing.
Make sure file sharing is ON for USB connection
I personally prefer OFF for file sharing over wifi.
Of course, if you need file sharing over wifi, you can set the password to reduce security breach
P.S.I won't have file share over wifi in public cafe wifi no matter what despite I don't load any personal info on the PB

Hi, I have the same problem and after changing all the settings as proposed, I still have the problem !
at work, I have Windows 7 and I have no problem to access to my playbook drive.
My problem is at home, I have windows XP SP3 and I have the same error as shown in this chat. Do you have other solutions ?

have you tried
-uplugging the playbook from xp machine
-rebooted the xp,
-login and wait it setlle down (no more busy cursor
-connect the playbook to the xp pc?
I you tried and didn't see any device installed and ready to use, then you will have to search for a xp playook device driver ( I'm not sure if there is one)
Actually I'm not even sure whether xp is supported.

I forgot to say that I have also a PC with XP at my office and I have no problem on this one
I will search for a xp driver for playbook, but I think I will have more sucess with uploading my PC to windows 7 soon !!
