Hi ,
My, Playbook tablet was working in very nice condition, & being longtime blackberry fan, love playbook tablet.
But,was upset playbook suddenly frozen & not opening at all, Playbook really has cost & quality edge over other tablets, but no service support.

LEAVE it connected to the wall outlet charger (not the USB > PC charger).
Leave it connected for 24 hours... every 3-5 hours, press and hold the power button only for about 20 seconds. Eventually it will boot on up, but first must reach a certain charge level.
You will see the blinking red and perhaps yellowish LED light, and perhaps a symbol on screen of "no battery". That means the battery is drained, but it must reach a certain charge before powering on.

Good luck, just press and hold the power button 20 seconds, watch if you see any LED activity.
Then, keep charging.

Open at all,Very frustrating...
Tried the On button? Sounds like you are looking at a lit up playbook with icons but will not respond, yes?
If so hold the On button down for 20 seconds. It will shut down. Wait 2 minutes. Press On button briefly to start it up again.
(this procedure replaces the old "3 button reset". You may read about.
