I'm still on hold waiting my turn I guess.

 

I had phoned them earlier before getting your case IN so I might have caused an issue. As soonI mentioned the number you provided they told me that they had to transfer me.

OK it's done. I spoke to a tech, they will be sending me a courrier package to return my unit back to them for testing, repair or replacement.

Your post seems like a fraud. Are you referring the OP to an Incident Based Ticket with Blackberry Technical Support Services?

Hi Ron,

 

Don't worry, it's not, I'm just helping on this issue to get the fix ASAP, I told Mitch to call 1-877-644-8405 tech support in Canada with a specific and only one ticket number they gave me. He already did so maybe he can confirm this to you if still there's any doubt

I will advise you when the courrier box arrives and is sent away. Then I will report at the time of return and the outcome for all to see that RIM still cares about its customers.

After a week at the RIM tech shop I guess my Playbook could not be fixed. To my delight I received a new one last Thursday and everything is running like it should.

what do you do when all tries to revive a playbook fail?

I have tried the multiple charge for days, the power button on then the volume buttons on for 40 seconds.

I have tried holding the power button for 20 seconds.

Nothing works and it appears to be dead with no red LED at all.

 

Any ideas before I give it a burial and buy an ipad?
