Native PlayBook calendar will not load

Cannot get native calendar to load. It's stuck in an endless load with moving circle. Tried soft and hard reboot with no results. Know of another who did security wipe - also no luck. Any ideas?

Is the calendar linked with an exchange account? 

 

Also when the loqding circle is present can you switch screen to do somthing else or does it freeze the whole playbook?

Has it ever worked?

 

I would suggest a possible back up and restore and see if that resolves the issue first, or if there is a operating system update your playbook needs it may refresh the application.

You actually did a security wipe and no fix?
What OS release is this PB running?

Before doing anything that severe, IS this calendar connected to any email or gmail or yahoo email account? If so, try deleting that email account  at Options > Accounts, DO a restart on the device, and then add that eail account back.

Turned off gmail in accounts - that did the trick. I'll delete and reload it. Thanks!
