i took a trip to pc world today to exchange my sons samsung tab as it developed a fault, since i took out the instant replacement cover for £30 for 3 years the simply gave me a new one, or if they didnt have one in stock they give you a free upgrade. my point being, i queried where there playbooks were as they used to have them on display, the sales manager(yes manager) said there discontinued (shame) but we are waiting for them to release there new tablet but we dont have a date yet as they are keeping it quiet(hmmmmm).... my second point, i also own a playbook with the same replacement no questions asked cover,,,,then if what the sales rep says is true, mines gonna take an accidental trip down the stairs, accidently get stood on then possibly my cat may just urinate on it....you get my drift......do you think they know something we dont or simply talking BS from pc world(uk btw).

Playbook stopped manufacture 2012.
Rumours of larger phone (phablet) called Aristo pretty well confirmed.
New plain tablet highly unlikely following boss's remarks about no market for tablets and the "resignation" of Blackberry head of tablets.

Agreed. I do not foresee BlackBerry returning to tablet business any time soon.
The A10 device with a 5" screen will be nice.

We don't know if support is discontinued until we need it and it doesn't appear, but LinkedIn seems to be the first casualty. if a new flash is not delivered when we need it then we will know for sure.
Retailer warranty and accidental damage is nothing to do with blackberry, except you may get a refurb.

I heard that with BB10 phones you will be able to use a touch screen monitor/TV over wifi and use your phone with it.
then all data stays in one place
