Netflix Says No to PlayBook

Not exactly encouraging news as Netflix says No to PlayBook.

And then later they soften the language without changing the actual message:

I have to say I'm disappointed. It seems they're supporting almost evey device out there except the PlayBook and BlackBerry at this point.

Well, that's not exactly the point is it? No big loss for you perhaps, and yes their content in Canada isn't the greatest but then isn't just in Canada after all. Personally I can always find something new to watch and there are times when it might be nice to watch these things on the PlayBook.

The dismissive "oh you don't need that" comments regarding apps that seem to pervade this forum are annoying to say the least, since many people are avoiding the PlayBook specifically due to the app selection, or lack thereof.

IMO, when Netflix comes out and says No to the PlayBook, that's a big vote of no confidence in the platform that might cause other developers to think twice.
