New OS upgrade...HELP!

I have been trying to download the new upgrade for my playbook but it is not installing? It downloads it and installs it up to 98% then says it was interupted and do I wish to restart. My playbook has lost everything...only the browser app is available. Can anyone help?

Re: New OS upgrade...HELP!

In what manner are you upgrading, via the WiFi connection or connected to the PC, with the Desktop Software running?

Re: New OS upgrade...HELP!

to use the Desktop isntall, You would need to install the BlackBerry Desktop Software to the PC first.

If you are asked to upgrade or repair the OS install, you may loose everything previously on the PlayBook... so you would want to try first to do a backup of the current Playbook BEFORE performing any update or repair through the Desktop Software.

Regarding the WiFi update, are you connected to a stable WiFi source? Could you try this first, on the PB, touch the upper right battery icon > Restart. After the restart, reconnect to the WiFi, and now try the OS upgrade again.
