Ah ok. Your were speaking about the wireless router.

 

Well, unfortunatly i do not have acces to our router and not to the neightbours'ones.

 

The PB is completly new: it does not know any wireless network yet.

Well that answers your original question. The PlayBook is trying to start, it sits and waits in that position looking for a wireless signal. It cannot find one so it won't proceed. Are you receiving the Internet at home? If yes, your home computer must be connected by a cable to the modem/router. If you answer yes, you can purchase a wireless router, they are quite cheap.

Well. I did not mention the wireless router.

 

The new 64gb Playbook does not start but the "old" 16gb one works and in the same room with the same routers around.

 

The 64 PB "crashes" so early that i guess the wifi chip is not even activate

Tap the WiFi indicator in the top right.Is it turned on?

Well, i would be very please to do that. But, read my previous post, my playbook does not boot.... I only get the "blackberry playbook" screen 30s and that's it...

I think the suggestion was to do the check on the working PlayBook (16 GB).  That PlayBook will boot fine without being connected to a WiFi, but the new PlayBook won't get anywhere until it gets a WiFi signal.

  I tried to "repair" my PB using the latest BlackBerry Desktop Software. The process never completed but now, at best, the PB boots until the OS setup. Then it crashes.

 

 DDR not correctly souldered ?
