Hi everyone...
Since I upgraded my PlayBook to OS 2.1.0.1032 (inFrance), I just can't activate it through a wifi connection.
Every connection I configure don't work. So, I can't use my Playbook, impossible to activate it.
I have this in logs :
UNRESPONSIVE_AP:[id=1]
I tried hard reboots, freshes reinstallations...
I tried different places with different wifi networks but none worked. My Bold 9900 connects without any dificulties.
Your help would be verry usefull...
thanks
Michaël

thanks for reply ;-)
I upgraded my Playbook to os 2.1.0.1032. before, i made a security wipe, to have a clean system.
Afte the upgrade, I have the wizard to activate my tablet. I have to first select my language and then choose a wifi network. Impossible to connect to any wifi network...

Does it see any networks?

Yes, I can see my personnal wifi network, my neighbours ones...
the exact error in logs is :
> 10:48:41:<2>WLAN_AUTH_FAIL:UNRESPONSIVE_AP:[id=0]
and the time is not correct...

That's good news as at least the radio chip is working. If you have access to the neighbours one or another that you are authorised to connect to, try to comnect to that, even if it's in a cafe wifi. That would point to a problem with your router. The message suggests you are on N with a deprecated encryption. It should be WPA2 (AES) for most routers.
But if that fails the only alternative is to reload the OS from Desktop Software using de-brick. You will lose any data not backed up.
Debrick:
Make sure you know your Blackberry ID and password
If you can, backup important data. (Preferably by file share drag n drop.)
Turn Playbook right off (i.e. Shut Down)
Ensure you have the latest Blackberry Desktop Software to your PC or Mac and start it up
Connect the Playbook by USB cable.
If the red light starts to glow press the Off button.
Because Playbook is off you will get an error message basically saying Retry or Update (on Mac it says repair rather than Update)
Quickly select the Update (or repair) option
The Playbook will start to get a new OS that will take a good hour to download via the PC
Follow the registration process using your current Blackberry ID
Add back your email accounts etc.
Reinstall your apps from App World, My World.
Copy back your data.

Thanks for your help, but I did this about 5 - 6 times...
I tried to connect to many wifi networks, none worked... the playbook seems to bug, it's hot when trying to connect...

You have done the usb debrick six times? And tried other routers each time? And tried changing router settings each time?
If so I guess the PB is bust. but your initial post said you had security wiped once andno mention of the usb OS restore which takes about two hours.
Seeking available networks is a battery hog so hot is not unusual for that process.

Yes, I dit 5 or 6 USB OS restore and tried each time to connect, without success.
This happened with the previous OS update, no wifi. I downgraded (by doing a usb OS restore) and it worked back, in the previous version. the problem is that doing a usb restore, it loads only the laste one, the 2.1.0.1032...
