Notifications when there are none on my playbook

[ Edited ]

Hi all

I have had a small problem where my playbook says i have an email or bbm.  When i click on the message is says "you have no notifications" but the icon stays in the top left as well as a star on my messages or bbm icon on my bridge.  When it happened to bbm i restarted the PB and that fixed it.  But now i have it with an email.  I have tried restarting and turning off but it is still there.  When i click on the notification in the top left it tell me who its from and the subject but i now i deleted it yesturday.  I have turned off the bridge with no effect.

Any help would be nice

Thanks for reading

Edit

I just recived another email and this removed the stuck icon.

Re: Notifications when there are none on my playbook

ok i am only talking from experince of the last eight days. but i have been reading the posts about the pb for awhile. i am still not sure if it is a good thing or bad that the os i a bit **bleep**. think of it, bb brings out a tablet, it has bugs but people still buy it, and now they are about to bring out os2. they could do a hole new add campain about pb2 not os2. and the newbi's would be none the wiser.

abit of topic but nevermind

Re: Notifications when there are none on my playbook

I really can't complain much. The PB is just like any other device; does some things good and comes up short in others. Mine has been perfect despite others' problems. My wifes Ipad is another tab that does some things good and some not so good. I can't wait for OS2 though. Thats gonna be fun.
