I was using the AIR Browser yesterday and noticed that a folder named "misc" with the Android logo next to it shows some of the same content that had been organized elsewhere.
For example: The folder "misc\android\music" has same exact contents as the original music folder. Even if I make a change to one folder, it updates to the other folder.
Since these files are in 2 different places, are they taking up double the space, or are they just links to the old files?

They are just links to old files, but I don't understand why they are there.
If you restart (touch the battery icon > Restart) does it still appear?

I've done that many times, and it doesn't help.
Ok, see I don't know what all you tried.
What else have you done, first tell us, so we don't have to play this "do this", "I've done that already" game. ![]()

While I really do feel they are links, duplicated for some reason in the other folder, have you gotten an app like "Files and Folders" or Air Browser, and actually drilled down and examined the supposed duplicate files to see if there is any size to the link, such a full size might be?

Don't worry, it's normal. They are links, aliases so that Android apps and PlayBook apps can share documents. They won't take up extra space.

I don't think they are just links. The files are duplicated in the Misc and subsequent Android folder. All of my media is currently 2.44 GB but then connect to the desktop and read the memory from windows file manager it shows that I have used up 4.88 GB of memory on my playbook in total.
