Upgrading to 2.1 stopped the playbook retreiving email from our email server. After a lot of testing different server options, it turns out that the playbook now needs to log in using Plain / Clear authentication.
This was not the case before the upgrade, Sending log in details in clear text is not considered good security and seems to negate the whole purpose of then using SSL encryption.
Its ironic to finally get full device encryption with 2.1 and then effectively lose email encryption.
Anyone else using the playbook for imap and have access to their server settings to confirm this?
