Re: OS 2 upgrade

I wonder what's going on? Most people report a quick, clean installation and an improved PB, but others seem to have been rendered slow or non-functional.  Strange.

Re: OS 2 upgrade

the installation was indeed quick and clean. no problem there. but every task is now slooooow. and the whole device seems to lock up while it is waiting for these tasks to execute. it renders the device near useless.... I was soooo hoping for this to be a success. the reason I purchased the device was that it initially was fast, slick and a much better hardware package than the iPad. I have since had to give up my blackberry phone ;-( and have been provided an iPhone. so now with a poorly performing tablet it may gather dust or be used as a very expensive photo album. as you can guess I am miffed...

Re: OS 2 upgrade

Before you throw in the towel, try a reset on your router. Just unplug it, wait a few minutes and plug it back in again. Where I am currently living, there is a community router and wifi system. A lot of people use it, the system is overloaded and by the end of the day it runs like cold molasses. So early every morning, my job is to unplug it, wait and plug it in again. For this reason I got my own system. Give it a try.
