OS Update - Issue !

Ok, I have been trying to update my Playbook today to the latest update, it gets to about 75-80% of the way and then it stops and I have to restart. It has done this 14 times to me and i'm getting REALLY annoyed with it.

Which upgrade are you seeing?

.1868 is current from two weeks ago.

I haven't seen one reported today.

I had this happen and was the result of the PlayBook not being backed up yet.

 

After a Backup it worked fine.

You should make sure that your device is not one of the recalled ones. If it isn't, I would wipe it completely then try the update again.

There was recalled devices ??? How will i know if it was recalled or not ? And how do I wipe it ?

dont wipe it, that is not needed 99% of the time.

I already have that to use with my BB Bold, but the problem is everytime i connect my Playbook to my PC it tells me that the setup is incomplete (the only way i can finish it is if the update installs, which it won't)
