Oh no! The Enter Account Password box appears!

I am a bit dismayed right now!  This box appears when I check for my email messages,

The box says:  Enter Account Password on top of the box.  Then it says,

"Enter account password for Gmail(it shows my email address)

Underneath that  is the slot to write in my Password.

Do I write out my email password or my Playbook password?

This has happened a couple of days ago and it's really annoying to not have my email

functioning in my Playbook.  A couple of days ago, the problem got resolved but I have no

idea what resolved it.

Re: Oh no! The Enter Account Password box appears!

I did enter my email password and it would not go through.  I went to settings and deleted that account and set it back up.  Then restarted my PlayBook.  It seems that I have been getting ongoing problems with my emails.  Just a moment ago, I didn't get messages in my other email address.  So.,  l had to delete that account and reenter it.  So now it's working.  It seems to me that the PlayBook doesn't work in a reliable and consistent manner lately.  And I really would like to have a more complete and steady email service.  Is it because I use Gmail accounts?  I would really like to know if people have issues with their email addresses functioning as smoothly or sporadically in their PlayBook.

Re: Oh no! The Enter Account Password box appears!

Hi Evista123,

I have the same issue with my ISP mail account. SMTP server accepts connection from local network only. So I get the same error when I'm out home. It seems that this error occurs when there are problems with Internet connection.
Respectfully,
Oleg

Re: Oh no! The Enter Account Password box appears!

I had to backup the files and did the security wipe today.  I hope that will take care of two problems that I have been dealing with.  I do hope my email accounts will run more smooth.  As you have mentioned,  the Internet could be the factor on how the emails get sent.  I have a secure and private wifi sever so I don't have problems in getting online and browsing the Internet.
