I've ordered a second playbook for my son. My daughter already has one, and I've bought her a few apps.

Can I use the bought apps on the second playbook, as I don't want to have to buy them again (eg we have an iPad and iPod touch and only bought apps once)

Yes you can...login to appworld with the same user account, & go to my world on playbook u ll find all your apps tre,,,

Great that's ok then. I was hoping it was like Apple, buy on one device use on several.

Will having the same user logged in on 2 separate playbook cause any problems for email or BBM or anything though?

No, nothing like that, you can download it with the computer & from playbook aswell....Enjoy...

One thing is that you will not be able to use one Playbook to call the other using the Video Chat, in order to do this you must have a different  BBID on each

Ah ok thanks for your comments and help. It's a pity about no video chat to each other, but I'm no way paying again for all the apps.

Anyway I wish like lots and lots of others, Skype would be available.

You actually can chat between two playbooks with the same BB ID. You just set up by pin number instead of BB ID email address. Works great, I set my sisters PB up and forgot to change the ID, and we can chat by pin. So, yes, yes you can.

So... You added a contact name, added their 8 digit hardware pin, left id blank??

it will not work on the same wifi network, my son and I share same BBID

When you add a contact to the video chat, enter the name, pin, and pin again in the video chat address and email and phone in the next two (if you wish).  So name, pin, pin and you can connect between two playbooks with same ID.  I just videod with it to verify. It WORKS
