Playbook   the orientation rarely work  - it always landscape  rarely  portraits

what OS are you on?


on Playbook press power button and both Vol + - buttons for 10 seconds to reboot it.

and see if it persists.

My os updates version 1.0.8.6067

 

pressing power +Vol and -Vol buttons I get screen  Turn off  Standby and Restart screen not the reboot

I restarted the system twice and problem is the same

possible the sensor is bad that detects it.

yup the orientation work perfect on mine...there is a button just next to the bluetooth icon in the top right that locks it....maybe it is stuck in the on position....just a thought....

I am aware of lock button on/off - I recently bought two units both have same problem, I think it is software problem rather than its sensor
