No it is not RIM's fault per se. After the poor startup of the Playbook and tbe relentless negative press following it the Skype and Netflix folks figured that BBX and tbe Playbook will not survive and did not want to spend development hours on a dead product. It was a business decission on their part - at the time.

Once OS2 is out all will be well. Either on Android or or in native (BBX) mode we will have both apps. So cool down and stay tuned.

And please, stop with the trolling comments about this topic. Consider this apublic warning for the responsible parties who are openly violating the community guidelines. I don't wan't to start banning users because of your overzealous need to dispute a point on a peer-to-peer community forum... where it will effectively go to deaf ears. RIM does not follow these posts unless it's a major escalation issue.
