I searched for the app but couldn't find anything. I typed "documents to go", PDF files, PDF reader. Do you have a specific name?
Hi catspllc!!!: Ninja:
I have a couple of suggestions for you! That is if the new software update didn't solve your problem.
Change the permissions for the apps file access rights for adobe
On BlackBerry Playbook open Options, go to Security, then Application Permissions
Select Adobe Reader application
change the files permission setting to allow the application to access files stored on BlackBerry PlayBook, now
save the settings by selecting Back button after making changes.
2) If the problem persists try this
Please give kudos and/or mark as a solutions it this worked for you!! THanks!!!!
remember to update PB if you haven't***

Okay. new 2 OS didn't help.
Go to the Appworld and use qPDF, which runs on the Android Playbook Runtime. This will work.
We need to push Adobe for the real "Adobe Reader" on the PB to be fixed and debugged and sorts...

I also ran into this problem yesterday. the standard pdf viewer crashes when opening a >54MB file what otherwise opens on my mac.
I also downloaded qPDF just now to try but it could not open this file either.
Is there any viewer who is known to be able to hande large files? Thanks.

discovered couple of things.
firstly, I downloaded the same >54MB file onto my other playbook and also downloaded qPDF to that playbook. And qPDF also could not open that file there.
However, secondly, I re-download this big >54MB file I was trying to open from the source website but, instead of using the default name that comes up at the prompt to save the file, I chose a different one (all I did was add a "2" to it). All of a sudden, this file could be opened by qPDF. Not only that, it could also be opened by the standard pdf viewer on the playbook! Go figure.
But clearly something is wrong on the playbook side of things. Hopefully this work around works everytime.
