Irfagan...agreed! The real pity is that many of the early adopters are techies and they are still having problems. This is a bit of an issue with RIM with their plans to get enterprise uptake...as the early adopters impact enterprise decisions. Not good.
Anyway. Have tried everything on the forum and still only two red lights flashing. No green ones. Using the original charger. Unable to get a connection to the computer. Tried all the reboot options. May need to take it back to the store. First time I have ever had to return hardware...guess I have been lucky.

leave it on the charger for an hour and then on Playbook press power button and both Vol + - buttons for 10 seconds to reboot it.
try this 3 times and see if it will boot up.

Tried everything...still nothing. just the stupid two red lights flashing. One of my friends got his to reboot...but the other is having the same problem. Understand shouldnt let go dead, but never been an issue with other tablets. Think I'll just return it and be done with it. Problem is in Hong Kong the distributor is clueless about PBs.

OK. So I didnt go back to the store today. Thought I would keep trying. Charged for 6 hours. Then went through all the button combinations. Nothing. Left it for 30 minutes came back to try again. Now no red lights flashing. Grrrrr. Anyone from RIM on this forum got an idea? Or maybe some suggestions on how I can get someone to take a look at it here in Hong Kong rather than a shop assistant from Fortress who is still trying to work out what this Playbook thing is...Thanks.
