No idea.  There were rumblings that RIM doesn't want to pay Oracle for a license, but I don't know how true that is.  There is an open source altenative, called Iced Tea, on GNU/Linux, that might get ported one day since RIM is very friendly to open source at the moment.

Skype calls using IMO used to work on Playbook.

Now the site comes up, Skype can be accessed, but echo test fails: we hear a ringback tone, but call does not complete .

Please send fix or solution, because this IMO web site enables Skype calls for PB users while waiting for Skype App)
