I went to the link and the page is in French, which unfortunately I can't read.  The main audio/video window says it wants Microsoft Silverlight, so perhaps they've moved on from Adobe Flash, which means there's no chance this will work on the PlayBook until Silverlight, or perhaps the open source Moonlight, is ported.

There was a bit of choppy-ness when the video, 2012-10-28 Occupation Double about Tokyo,  first started, but it runs smooth with only two slight pauses during play.

Tested on OS 2.1.0.1088.

Yes, there is a difference between Javascript and Java Virtual Machine.  The PlayBook doesn't have a Java Virtual Machine as yet.

It works, just really, really slow, to the point where the PlayBook becomes non-responsive.  The website says it's processor intensive.

Canadian Tire's weekly FLASH version of their flyer. This I believe is a FLASH issue though

I have just updated to OS 2.1.0.1032 build 328132 and Flash player 11.1.121.66

OS2.0 worked fine.  I also installed the patch that came out Oct 19/2012. I was hoping that would fix the flash issue but no.
