I updated my PlayBook this morning and setup all my PIN accounts when I got into the office.
I was able to configure all account types including an Exchange account via ActiveSync. Everything worked PERFECTLY all day in the office.
I am now home and connected to the Wifi in my house, but I can't synchronization with my Exchange server.
However, it will connect if I turn off wifi and use Bridge for my Internet connection.
What would cause it to work on one wifi...but not another....and also work with Bridge??
Any help you can provide would be great!!
Thanks
Mike

Other than I don't have a BB for Bridging, I have the exact same issue. I don't have an answer but can provide more details on what I see.
At work, email, contacts and calendar work fine; at home the they do not seem to see the network at all. If I go into the Accounts to try and connect, it gives me a "Your PlayBook is not connected to a network. Connect to a network and try again." However, I clearly am connected as I can user the Playbook Browser as normal. I know our work ActiveSync is working properly as I have an iPod Touch that concurrently connects successfully through my home wifi. Even when I try to create a Gmail account entry, it does not see the Gmail server.
At work, we do have to go through a web proxy server to get out of our work network. This web proxy server is an internal address and is not visible to the public internet so maybe the Playbook email program is "caching" this address and is trying to go through it (but it can't see it) to get out to our ActiveSync server. Just a guess but I have no idea on how to address this theory.
I have tried deleting/recreating my email account, renaming my profile, recreating my wifi connection and it still does not work.
Hope this extra information helps. I am looking for an answer, too.
Regards,
Peter

you might have an older wifi router that does not support enough connections. I have this issue at home with my old router.
even a BBM messages will disrupt things.
Can you test at a local wifi hotspot to see if it works there

Thanks but I just tried another wifi hotspot and it still does not work. (The router theory would not explain why the browser works, anyways.)

I am using Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. (And the Gmail option not POP but I don't care about this one as much.)

I would ditch IMAP and use EAS, it works much better.
