PlayBook os upgrade problems

Hi All, I upgraded yesterday and now I can't open email, calendar or video chat?

Everything else seems okay. ????

1. Restart the PlayBook by touching the battery icon at the top right > Restart.

2. Is this native email, or through the Bridge?

Tried different restart options and no joy. Native email 2 different accounts. playbook is showing mail is received but when I try to open email it says, application interrupted, close and open error 30000?

Delete those email accounts, restart again, and add them back.

Hi, just to throw something else into this topic listing, my browser is crashing all the time now, never had a single blip on 2.0.  Also, Stellarium is broken, but this is documented elsewhere on the forums.

Does anybody else have issues with the browser? I have re-booted several times and tried it with wi-fi and bluetooth tethering, no difference...

Having had a very happy experience to-date with my Playbook, I now seem to be left with an expensive paperweight.

Maybe on the calendar, doubtful on the Video chat.

 

I'd try to get one thing at time fixed.

It seems no magic will bring back lost calendar entries, unless they were stored "in a cloud". Video Chat seems to work OK.

 

Worry about power consumption. I had no problems running OS 2.1 beta. Now it seems I am loosing juice faster than before.

Upgraded yesterday. Application interrupted is the most frequent information I see on my screen. Email not working. Contacts not working. Battery charging is also suspect. Full charge when turned OFF last night. Dead when I tried to turn it on this morning. Video chat not working. Keyboard not responding properly when called. Calendar not working.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for them to recognize and resolve this major disruption to their supporters.

You should not have to BUT, do complete restart.

 

I had no problems with my upgrade. As this seem to be the case for many. My programs work fine, with the notable exception of lost calendar entrires which were not "cloud" backed. Another observation is that it took some nailbiting time until my email app came up. I guess it needed time to sync.  It is OK now.

 

My refernce re loosing battery power was not as extreme as your by any means.
