I have pressed the power button twice now in the past 15 hours and it makes the charging symbol go away and I have to press power again to make it start back up. Is this normal? Yes yes yes, you are on a good path. Keep charging, keep trying the power button every so often.

OK, so I brave myself to flash 2.0.1 OS with CFP, it run till 100% and said done, but now I got double red led blink, pause double red blink, pause, and repeating. Have been looking around and found some people have the same issue but no clear answer ... not sure if it got worse or better than before ...

And, have you tried the tips for charging/powering on in this thread?

[ Edited ]

I did, and by previous led signal, it showed that my battery was full. long red, then long green light. i can even boot the os, but it died after loading on color bubble animation. it never enter the OS.

getting a rapid charger /  charging dock is almost impossible here in Indonesia since there is no official blackberry store and nobody sell playbook, let alone the accesories.

Awesome! Thanks for your help. I will continue to press the power button every few hours then. What should I be waiting for? Should it waiting for it to turn on when I press the power button?

Ok! Thanks again! I really appreciate the help. So once I see the various colours come up on the screen what would you recommend doing next? Just leaving it plugged in until it's charged fully? I know or sure I'll need to update the OS but I'm scared to unplug it incase I can't get the charging symbol back.

Re: PlayBook will not charge, battery at 10% and icon shows charging

So I have been pressing the power button every 2 hours or so and no changes yet. It's been charging for over 24 hours straight now. I just want to confirm that want I'm doing is right. So right now the playbook shows the battery symbol with the lightning bolt followed by a green light for about 3 seconds (slowly gets brighter) and then a red light for about 15 seconds then repeat. When I press the power button every few hours it just seems to shut that sequence down completely. So I then press the power button again and it restarts the sequence. Is this normal that pressing the power button stops the sequence and should I be pressing it again to restart the sequence? I will leave it and continue doing this as long as it takes to successfully start the playbook, but at what point should I try something else if this isn't working? I read something about stack charging but because I can see the charging symbol that doesn't seem necessary at this point. Thank you again for your help I really appreciate it!:smileyhappy:

When you see the battery icon with the lightening bolt on the screen leave it there to charge.
