Playbook BBM issue

I got my playbook yesterday and updated it to the latest 1.0.7.2670 and bridged it to my bold 9700 (6.0.0.576) and my bbm is version 6 beta (from appworld) I everything else works fine through bridge (messages, files, calendar) except bbm, I get the notification that I received new messages but when I bring up bbm on pb it only shows white screen and green circle. I have tried unpair/pair hard reboot, reinstall bridge wipe my phone reinstall everything got latest bridge on phone etc. nothing works, I have changed all my contact names into just alphabets with no special characters also. Is there a solution to this problem? I have tried briding my girlfriend's phone bbm still doesn't work.

Unfortunately your version of bbm is not supported, you need to downgrade in order for the Playbook bbm to work.

I have also tried the version 5 from appworld (on my girlfriend's phone) it doesn't work also

Any version of BBMessenger greater than version 5.0.3.22 supports the Bridge for Playbook BBM use.

 

Do all other Bridge apps (mail, browser, etc.) work ok?

yes they do, everything works except bbm :smileysad:

i tried to re-pair them again, turn off wifi and mobile network and only leave bluetooth on still doesnt work, virtually tried everything google has to offer but no luck and there's no customer care here in thailand where i can take it in to diagnose as well :smileysad:

nope, I manually changed all my 200 contacts names into normal alphabets although their personal message I cannot change which they have Thai language in it
