I see that error only on the wifi browser:

With the bridge browser i have never seen that message. It works fine, I have a curve 8530, it is slow, but works. I noticed something, the first time i used the bridge after the .83 update, the two devices didn't shake hands easily, i had to try several times, even re-installing the bridge, but what fixed the problem was that i move to another spot in my house, which means interference or noise cause the bluetooth radio to block communication with the tablet.
