Playbook Camera not working

I recently installed OS 1.07.3312, and while I can't state for certain this was the cause, within a day or two afterward, I noticed my camera, either the still or the video, was not working.  I open the app and the icons are present, indicating it is functional, but it is almost like the lens is covered.   I of course have checked the obvious and verified that nothing was covering the lens, which there wasn't.  Any suggestions?

Backup your data and do a security wipe.

I will give it a shot.  I assume that after I am done, i do a system restore?

just back up what in not on a pc / mac. don't restore settings that may be the culprit.

I tried, it didn't work, and i have spent the better part of a day trying to get the PB up and running again.  I still don't have everything reloaded.  Any other ideas?

Did you solve the problem?

 

I have the same problem but I noticed that I can switch to front camera that works.
