Playbook Disappointment

What I don't like about the playbook:

The mail is via webmail, can't send or receive email from within the playbook.

Can only create and save documents to the playbook, cannot receive or export via email.

Cannot export photos taken by the playbook.via email.

Because I cannot do the above mentioned items ,I'm sorry to say the playbook is going to be returned and I will look at other tablets.

Re: Playbook Disappointment

Actually, all expect your first problem are not true.

Native PIM and email is coming, in reply to your first.

If you currently use BlackBerry services, email is available through BlackBerry Bridge, as well as sending pictures, etc.

Re: Playbook Disappointment

So you're saying you bought a tablet without native email KNOWING it didn't have native email, and now you're complaining it doesn't have native email? And all your other problems are a result of that? Bravo.

I'm going over to the BMW forums to complain that my 328i isn't as big as an Audi A5.

Are you kidding me?

Re: Playbook Disappointment

I don't have a Blackberry phone therefore Bridge is not an option.

Correct, at least for now, and this is something you would have known before purchasing the Playbook.

Good luck.

Re: Playbook Disappointment

The point here is that you KNEW there was no native email. You don't get to complain about something that was evident before you paid for the device. Period.

Re: Playbook Disappointment

When I was looing at the playbook the sales person told me i could setup email which lead me to beleive there was native email. Anyway its no big deal as I can return the unit and get a tablet that supports email. Maybe the Motorla Xoom.
