Hello,

I have a playbook 16Gb version which I purchased last dec. When I turned on the playbook from the standby mode the display turns grey with some vertical white lines. I have to repeatedly press the power button until the display is normal. Sometimes it dosnt even display the home page, displays the grey screen again.

What can be done to resolve this issue?

I am still under the warranty so is there  way i can send it to RIM for repair?

Your fastest way to get the answers you're looking for is to call technical support. Since you're under warranty, you should get some action much faster than through these forums.

I wouldn't be surprised if the telephone call takes up to an hour of your time though as they will most likely ask you to troubleshoot before giving you an RMA number. If you search these forums you will see some similar threads.

I am having problem, am from  India and I don't find the customer support number nor the customer service center for playbook. my kid is missing watching youtube videos on this and my pc speakers not working.
