Of course all this specific discussion is a bit premature.
It all makes much more sense doing it in person than describing it here.
Trust me, I fought side-loading anything for months because I thought it sounded too complicated. It's really a piece of cake.

Is sideloading a different term for file transfer via wifi?
I've just managed to see the instructiuons to download via PC. But is this also compatible with a Mac?
If i install this Good ereader on my PB can i now download Android apps onto my PB?

Could you please briefly tell me what is wifi file sharing? IS this the fastest and easiest way to transfer files in between a PB and a PC/Mac?
It works pretty smoothly for me. It simply sets up a direct WiFi connection between your PC and your Playbook and you drag/drop files back and forth. Music, Vids, whatever.

Goodereader.com is a website to find android apps, not an actual app.
will repost instructions from earlier.
Install Chrome Browser for Mac (OS X 10.5 or later, Intel only)
Install Extension "Playbook App Manager"
Download the converted Android app from Goodereader.com to Downloads folder
Put playbook into developer mode (settings, security, development mode)
Hit the Install button and point to the downloaded app in Downloads
Regarding USB cable it never even dawned on me to use cable. I used wifi to sideload.
Development mode icon showed me 192.168.1.100 as my wifi IP address and I used that in the Playbook App manager settings.
