Re: Playbook OS v.1.0.6.2390 Upgrade

Noticed the same issues when i upgraded. apps lock up after closing messages and screen locks up after being idle.

turned off all bluetooth connections and deleted both profiles on my phone(curve 9300 on BIS) and PB. created new profiles when i created a new bridge.
try if this works, as it worked out pretty well after i did .

Make sure all chats are closed on your blackberry. that is also known to prevent bbm use on playbook on initial setup.

Re: Playbook OS v.1.0.6.2390 Upgrade

Agreed. My thesis argument for RIM to be successful is that it do everything resource-wise to make playbook without any bugs in bridge. If the problems are due to supporting old phones, then get users on newer ones (via promotions). If the engineers are overly-stressed with extra work, add resources here immediately.

Anyhow on the plus side, my curve 8900 may only have required just a reboot, and I was able to reconnect my bridge after the update.
