Playbook always hang/freeze when watching online movies

I always experience this problem on my playbook, always hang or freeze when watching movie online . I always restart or sometimes close my browser just for a quick remedy and it is so annoying. Can someone or the experts help me with my problem. My playbook version is 1.0.6.2390

I was about to post about this same problem. When the screen goes blank, the PB quits playing. you have to wake it up, and re start the browser

I am also cursed with this problem - how do we know that RIM are aware and are looking into it?

Guys, the best way to get this solved is to call RIM's Playbook tech support (0800 096 2805 in the UK, 1800 039 536 in Australia, 1 877 644 810 in the US) and ask to open a ticket to complain about this issue. The more tickets regarding that problem exist, the quicker it'll get bumped in their To Do list.

From my understanding, when viewing a flash app within the browser, with the recent 1.0.7 OS, the stand-by mode does not get activated anymore.

How did it go with your inquiry, ac_freeman?

Is there a telephone number for Canadians as I am having the same problem. I even exchanged my PlayBook thinking it was a technical problem with the device. The technician at the store thought the same thing.

1) go to http://ca.blackberry.com/
2) choose the PlayBook in the Devices drop down menu
3) scroll down the page to a link named "Explore support options"
