I have browsed earlier messages about similar situations but I haven't seen any solution other than return the PlayBook to BlackBerry for repair. As I have had it for a couple of years, I don't think that's an option for me. It used to work correctly but within about the last year it stopped seeing any available networks, either at home or in hotels, both places where I have tried and succeeded with my BlackBerry phone wi-fi but Playbook sees nothing. I have tried everything including WPS push-button setup, manual setup when I know all the correct settings but it never succeeds in connecting or seeing any available networks. I have updated to the latest o/s software via Desktop Manager (yesterday) and there is no change. Is this a hardware fault? Surely it should list some available networks, if nothing else. There are pages of them listed on my Q5.
