Re: Playbook does not charge.

Whoa, something good is happening!  Charging for 24 hrs., held and depressed the power on button, red light came on and went out, then the battery icon with lightening bold showed on the screen and the green light came on, there is still hope.

Re: Playbook does not charge.

Jude, so this worked as stated, for you?

KEEP it connected to the known good charger. Several hours. 24 hours. Leave it.

Come back and press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.

Re: Playbook does not charge.

Well I've stacked everyway possible. Mine is totally dead! I can't even get a brief re-boot. Why on earth would anyone make something has to have power to accept power. Dumb for the user. Great for their marketing data. :smileytongue:

Re: Playbook does not charge.

You probably don't need to stack charge it.

LEAVE it on a known good charger for 24 hours.

While it is STILL CONNECTED to the charger, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.

If it begins to boot you will see the red LED blink and LEAVE IT charging.

If you don't see it boot, LEAVE IT CHARGING, and do the power button again a few hours, 20 seconds.

Re: Playbook does not charge.

I have bought a new BB PB and configured the same. Post configuration I used it for 2hrs but after that the battery went off.Now when the battery is fully disposed off, my PB is not chargin. Even the red light is not blinking. I have tried several times but still its showing the same problem and i am not able 2 use it.

Kindly suggest what can be done?
