I have an issue where my Playbook will freeze when I enable (connect) via Blackberry Bridge.  It will initially connect with no problems, but the moment I try to respond to an email from my Playbook, the Messages application will stop responding then all the applictions in the Blackberry Bridge section will not respond, then the Playbook will stop responding alltogether.  I figured upgrading to the new build of Blackberry Bridge on my Torch as well as the recent OS upgrade  on my Playbook would have helped, but no dice...  Any suggestions?

try uninstalling bridge from your phone and then reinstalling it. maybe corrupted install or incorrect permissions.

also may sound silly but make sure you dont have too many apps running on your 9800 - i haveone too and am too aware they can be very slow at times.

I tried reinstalling Blackberry Bridge on the phone but I am still experiencing the same issue... 

As far as too many apps, the phone is essentially in idle and no other application is running...

have you tried hard rebooting both the phone and the playbook?

phone can be done by pressing alt+shift+del on the keyboard

playbook can be done by holding the volume buttons and the power button down together for 15 seconds

yes, I tried restarting both devices on multiple occasions. I just tried another version of Blackberry Bridge on my phone and still no luck... i guess I can try wiping the OS & start from scratch?

Performed Security Wipe and things seem to be resolved. Thanks for your help!

does security wipe revert the os to the original build prior to updates too?

yes, I assume there is a small partition that has the OS from the factory, but as soon as you setup the WiFi, it automatically upgrades to the latest OS.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it wiped the OS. The only knock is having to go through the initial "training" process but otherwise pretty painless.

aah cool will have to do this when i return home. hopefully will solve my calibratoon problems on websites such as facebook
