I have damaged my micro hdmi port by sticking in the wrong (not HDMI) cable. Now it does not work. Can this port be repaired or it should be replaced/exchanged? Can I do it myself or shuld go to repair shop....which is a problem for me as Playbook is not available on Croatian market....therefore no repair shops....please help....
Is the connector bent or broken? If bent, you may be able to bend it back into place by using a small plastic screwdriver which are used in radio tuning or some other small plastic device.
thank you, as far as I can see, the small gold pins in the upper part of the connector are bend....they seem very small to be able to pull them back....how do you think I could do that?
