Re: Playbook pictures attaching from visited website

Install AIR Browser or similar proper file manager. Playbook standard one is useless. Explore all folders including downloads, and also sub folders in Misc folder.

You will find what look like copies of all your photos in that folder but don't panic, they are simply aliases not duplicates.

You can explore using PC and desktop software also.

Re: Playbook pictures attaching from visited website

They are in the images folder to get to it I have to:

Go into Misc,

Then Android,

Then OScommerce,

Then Catalog,

Then Images,

Then they all come up under different headings (banners,Default,DVDIcons etc)

It gives me the option to delete them but when i do this they wont delete

Looks like you have an app installed or more likely sideloaded called OSCommerce? That is what is controlling the images. Uninstall it then try another delete. Delete the oscommerce folder if you can

I had one called Guardian Anywhere and it clogged up my albums with every image for every day of the newspaper, and then  syncd to my laptop. What a mess!

Re: Playbook pictures attaching from visited website

Next steps.

Reboot the playbook and try again.

Try another file manager though they will mostly be paid-for.

Try desktop software or wifi file sharing and delete with the pc explorer or finder in mac.

If all else fails, backup, security wipe, restore data only, dont reinstall oscommerce ever again.
