Playbook screen won't light up and stays REALLY dim

It occured to me suddenly today that the screen of the playbook gets REALLY REALLY dim and it won't lighten up unless I apply pressure on the middle back of the playbook itself. I have the auto-backlight dimming turned off and by adjustding the brightness bar only makes it even dimmer! It doesn't make a difference whether plugged in or not.

Plesase anyone help! I can't live without the playbook and I really need it fixed . Thank you!

Also, i have tried restarting and rebooting and it doesn't work. As soon as I let go of my pressure on the back of the tablet, it goes dim again

Go to nearest blackberry service centre. This iis hardware issue

yea, i called them and they say i should send it to the repair facility. lets hope the 90-day complimentary service covers it!

it has a one year warranty and should be covered
