I hate to say, there's nothing anyone here can do for you except commiserate with you.

Re: Playbook stolen

Lucky you! I would pay someone to steal mine. I am a HUGE BlackBerry fan, but we have all be totally ripped-off here. RIP the PlayBook.

my family likes using the Playbook, we have 3 of them and plan to get another for my inlaws and one for my mom.

no where on teh box did it lie when i purchased mine. Yes there are some promises that have not been met yet, but I have not really needed those with the use of Bridge to access emails. android player might be nice, but i want it to work right instead of the buggy leak that was out I tested.

PS send my your playbook so I can give it to a good home.

Re: Playbook stolen

Sorry for your lost playbook.

I left my playbook on a plane in London, from where I left immediately on an 18 day cruise and was mainly out of touch.  When I returned home (US) there was a message from AA, asking if I was the owner of a playbook they found on the plane.  Needless to say, that was good news and a week later I had my PB back.

It would be nice if BlackBerry would develop an app, like they have for phones, called BlackBerry Protect.  One of it's features is view the devices locaton on the BlackBerry Protect web page.

Re: Playbook stolen

this is somewhat off topic, but to amplify your kudos to AA, this was the London lost and found. When I first called them upon returning, I talked to lost and found in Dallas/fort worth. the attitude was they get so much lost items, all they do is scrap them (do I see some opportunity for some cheating), and they can't bother to trace things.
London, on the other hand, is extremely careful with lost items and really do their best to get them back to the owner. So the kudos should go to London AA lost and found. I bet you can guess I do not feel the same about Dallas/Ft Worth (AA's central lost and found)
