Playbook wifi issues

I tried to go online with my playbook and a message came up showing "failed to load URL". I went into my wifi settings and made sure that my wifi was connected and it was, however, when I click on my wifi account it is saying it is disabled and cannot acquire an IP address. What is going on and how do I fix this?

When you go into your Wifi settings on the PlayBook, have you checked "Automatically Obtain IP Address ".
