Thanks. I had no problem connecting the device through the Windows network manager (discovery took a little while). It is great to be able to drag/drop files. One I tried was a 12 GB Rolling Stones Bluray video at 1920 x 1080. Playback is fantastic.

Had to do a device reset after I disabled the WIFI and then it worked.
What a pain.

fixed! not that easy though. same as the posts above me i have to do these steps:
1. Make sure you have the newest Dekstop Manager (Updates). Mine is Version 2.1.0
2. Turn of your PB's Wi-Fi
3. Restart you PB
4. Plug the usb and wait...
5. Voila!
still, they need to come out with an update to fix this anyway...![]()

I had the same problem so I called technical support and all you have to do is turn off the Wi-Fi on the playbook then connect to the desktop software and it should work
