Playbook won't turn on or charge - No red blinking rights.

Hi,

I've tried holding power button + the volume buttons together for 20 seconds, also charging it to a wall outlet but the Playbook seems dead.

It went dead once I let the battery go down to 0% without charging. I had it for only 1 month or so.

Please help!

Thanks!

Try an connect it to the pc and coonect to it via the desktop software,

also can hold power for 10 seconds to reboot , think you tried the factory reset method.

Perform shallow discharges. Instead of discharging to 0% all the time, lithium-ion batteries do best when you discharge them for a little bit, then charge them for a little bit.

When I tried connecting to the PC, it won't detect it for some reason.

It looks completely dead, with no light or sign of life.

do you have a blackberry desktop manager? re-install it or better, download the new version of it...

I do, it used to work before so I'm not sure if that's the problem.

I will try to re-install. Any other suggestions?

If there is no light activity, hold the power button only for not more than 20 seconds. Make sure you are connected to the charger and leave it connected for 6 hours.

Re: Playbook won't turn on or charge - No red blinking rights.

the playbook battery is so low that it will take several hours for it to charge. When the battery is this depleted it will not run even when plugged in giving the sign something is wrong. Just plug it in and let it alone for several hours or even jus leave it plugged in for a day or 2 it will not hurt anything but it will take a long time for the battery to come back
