Do you get any light activity when you try starting it? Google these BlackBerry Knowledge Base articles. KB26808, KB27705, KB26516 KB26708.

Keep trying. It can work, and has for many, but it takes patience and persistence.

Re: Playbook wont charge and wont switch on

Does it take more than two weeks and trying at least four to five times a day?

Re: Playbook wont charge and wont switch on

No, it shouldn't.

In that case you need to try to connect to your PC with the BlackBerry Desktop Software running. If you get the message on the PC to update, retry, etc., go with the update. This will wipe all personal data from the device, but it should get you back up and running.
