Problems

Hi,

I was wondering if any one could help me, i recently updated the playbook to the latest software and ever since the playbook has become very slow. By slow i mean that when trying to do anything such as use a second tab in the browser it takes for ever.  it seems like the touch part of the screen in very laggy and also open and closing programs takes for ever. if anyone could tell me what the problem is and a way to fix it that would be awesome.

Re: Problems

If you went from OS1 to OS2 then it takes up more space. If you have used more than half the data storage on a 16GB playbook try deleting unnecessary files. If you have a proper paid-for file manager check Downloads is not full of junk as it doesn't seem to get cleared out.

I like to occasionally security wipe and start again. Takes an hour of your spare time and you need to back up data files first but it seems to have the same affect as reinstallinfWindoze on a PC.  Security wipe will automatically reinstall the latest OS.

Re: Problems

I would try the three button reset to see if it will clear up minor glitches. I use the tab feature to open multiple pages in the browser and I have not had a problem with this.
