Qr scanner app

What am I doing wrong? Apparently I am not using this app correctly.  Could someone please explain the process to me? Thanks

Simple. Open the app. Fit the QR code inside the box, hold stable and wait a few seconds. It must be the square-type bar code.

QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) is the trademark for a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional bar code) first designed for the automotive industry in Japan.
