There is no reason why the roll up keyboard you are considering should not work as the PlayBook works with a number of Bluetooth keyboards. You can always try it out in a store before buying the keyboard. If this is an online mail-order purchase, then you'll only really find out when you get it and try it out.
I read online about a bluetooth keyboard that came out on a market for BB Playbook, so I thought that maybe BB Playbook requires a special bluetooth keyboard. I'll try roll-up, as you suggested.
I have the official BlackBerry PlayBook keyboard and it works quite well. It also has a track pad so it doubles as a mouse. It also works on my PC.
A friend of mine has an official keyboard as well as a third party one and they both work well. Only problem with the third party one is that he has to attach a mouse as well
