i launch from my book mark and create a new one from it with a diff name.
then delete the old one if satisfied

Sorry, but I'm unsure how you do that. There is no option to name the bookmark to begin with.

Go to the site and click on the star to bookmark it and it adds it to my bookmarks. Is there another way to do it?

when I click on the star with a plus symbol i choose save to home screen and i can label it.

The browser can not rename them but I find the icon on home screen works well
