Since update2.1.0.1526 playbook unuseable!!!!!

Just did the latest software update  2.1.0.1526 and now not one app works on the Playbook.... If you try to open anything it tries to open but then just shuts the app straight back down and goes back to home screen... I had a nightmare to even install the update before this as that took lots of tries.. Including me having to do the 3 button complete reset to factory settings and start all over again...

Touch the upper right battery icon > Restart and after the restart see if your apps work.

point taken.. origional post edited... tried the battery icon/reboot and now just got the blackberry playbook load up screen showing for the last 10 mins...

its now rebooted after holding the power button down to force a complete switch off.. so turned baak on again and its now booted but still not one app will work... cant do a single thing with it as it stands... but seems to be lots of probs regarding this latest update!!

few hours on.. still not working properly... been able to open browser and app world but then they just close after a few mins and its impossible to open them or any other apps up again so have to restart 4/5 times till it will open them again...

Press the power button and the + sign button at the same time and hold until it powers off, it will then reboot.

Done that 3 times already with no effect each time... think its going to be a trip back to the shop and give it them back...

If you connect it to your computer will the DM connect to the PlayBook. If it can try to get it to delete the OS and reinstall it again.
