Re: Skype

That would be a question best asked of Skype themselves. Though, it is rumoured to be released when blackberry 10 is released

Re: Skype

ComWave ePhone for Playbook is much better than Skype.

ComWave gives you a regular phone number, free calls to any phone number in us and Canada. Video calling as well.

Skype doesn't do that.

Re: Skype

Ok so for video calls both sides have to pay a foreign company $30 a year - yeah right!

Re: Skype

No, video call is free from ComWave to ComWave. so long there is a good Internet speed on both ends. I have tried it and it is good.

You pay $30/year if you want to call outside Canada and US.

Skype doesn't give you a telephone number unless you pay, only free calling from Skype to Skype.

With ComWave you get a telephone number and call Canada and US for free right the way, only pay if you want to call outside of these two countries.

Hope this helps.

Ok, but they need to update the description in App World as video is not indicated in the free package, I guess it's free to try.
